Being one of the UK’s best comedians comes with the fact that any tour will be immensely popular. Find out the details of the latest Russell Howard tour, including dates and venues.

Russell Howard has been active on the UK comedy circuit since 1999 when he was just 18/19 years old.

He has worked to raise his stock to the level it is at now by appearing regularly on multiple top TV shows such as ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Have I Got News For You’, while also having his own shows that became national favourites.

But at the heart of it all is a stand-up comedian who provides audiences with a highly enjoyable night that is always sure to leave everyone in stitches.

This could be the case once again as Russell Howard will be embarking on a brand new UK tour in 2023. Here, we will bring you the details of the tour, including dates and venues.

What has Russell Howard been doing recently?

Russell Howard has always been a popular draw, and as such is often invited to be a guest panelist on almost all of the UK’s top comedy shows.

From 2009 to 2015 he was given his own show, named ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, where he’d present the latest news stories in the UK and around the world, including the obscure oddball stories, and put his usual comedic twist to make them highly entertaining for his audience.

While that ended in 2015, he was given another version of the show in 2017 called ‘The Russell Howard Hour’, which again has been immensely popular within the nation.

What makes the show so appealing is the guests he has appearing on them, as he himself is a big draw so is able to get some rather big names to come on his show, such as Keanu Reeves, Ed Sheeran, and (very interestingly) Greta Thunberg.

When and where is Russell Howard’s tour happening?

Howard announced his latest tour back in October 2022, and it included 46 shows in 22 different venues and cities, running from 19th March - 17th June.

The tour has proved to be immensely popular as new dates have been added due to high demand that has seen 80 shows sold out, including the six London Palladium and seven Bristol Hippodrome dates.

A further 16 dates were added to eight venues that were already part of the tour, with each venue getting a further two shows.

Who will be his supporting acts?

Information about the supporting acts who will open the shows are unknown as of yet. News of any opening acts should be supplied closer to the date of the shows.

He could bring a number of different supporting acts, with them changing after each month or depending on where he is, he could bring in one of the local up-and-coming comedians.

It is likely he wouldn't have any other top comedians with him, such as Romesh Ranganathan, who is also on tour in 2024.

Any supporting acts are more likely to be lesser known comedians, or ones who are building their reputation.

What are the critics saying about the tour?

The critics have always been kind to Howard regarding his live shows, and that's because he always puts on a good show.

‘The Times’ has called him a megastar in the past, while the ‘Sunday Times’ have labelled him as “One of the world’s top comedians”.

Reviews for his tour are not yet out as he hasn’t started on it yet, however, he is still workshopping his set by doing some work-in-progress shows, and everyone who has attended has had very favourable things to say afterwards on social media.

How can I get Russell Howard tour tickets?

As mentioned, a lot of the tour has sold out already. However, there are still tickets available for some of the venues including Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Brighton, and Glasgow.

You can check out what tickets are still available by heading to Russell Howard’s official website, which will give you the full list of tour dates.

Seat Unique is unable to offer any premium Russell Howard tickets, however, should he announce any new dates at certain other venues in cities such as London or Manchester, we will look to make tickets available.
