There are a number of top comedians who are currently working on new material, possibly in preparation for a new tour in 2023. Others have already announced one. Here are some of the best comedians on tour in the UK in 2023.

Before a comedian embarks on a big tour, they first must test out the new material they have been working on to gauge what is working and what isn’t. The last thing they want is to go out on the first day of a nationwide tour and bomb on stage.
Throughout this year and for the rest of the year, there are a number of top comics who have been or will be working on intimate work-in-progress shows, which are exactly what they sound like - smaller shows that haven’t been advertised massively where the act will be testing out their new content in preparation for possibly a new tour.
There are also a few of those comedians who have already finished those shows and have announced a tour for 2023.
With that, we bring you some of the best comedians - mainly British but not all - rumoured to be or are confirmed to be touring in the UK next year.
And to get you more excited for any one of these acts, we’ve added a clip of each’s best joke from past shows.
Jack Whitehall - Confirmed
English comedian, actor, and writer Jack Whitehall has officially announced that he will be heading out on his huge new ‘Settle Down’ UK arena tour in June and July of 2023.
The London-born funny man, who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his unique brand of humour, hasn't toured the UK since 2021.
He is set to hit the stage at the biggest arenas across the UK, such as First Direct Arena, OVO Hydro, AO Arena, Utilita Arena Birmingham and The O2 Arena between the 13th of June and 16th of July.

Micky Flanagan set new arena records at multiple venues during his last tour in 2017, “An’ Another Fing”. He sold 600,000 tickets throughout and played to a sold-out O2 crowd for 11 consecutive nights.
It’s safe to say he is one of the most in-demand comedians in Britain, and that is still true this year.
Flanagan started doing intimate work-in-progress shows throughout 2022, which led to the hopes of a new tour from the cockney comedian.
Those hoping for it have had their prayers answered as a new Micky Flanagan tour is coming in 2023, with dates, venues and ticket information available later this month.
Tickets for his show on 30th March at the Utilita Arena Birmingham and 20th April at the First Direct Arena Leeds are the only tickets we have available left. Be sure to get them while you still can.

British icon Peter Kay is finally returning to stand-up!
Bolton's best hasn't been on tour for over 10 years, but he has finally announced an end to his hiatus with a brand new UK tour coming in late 2022/2023.
The 'Better Late Than Never' tour is a long tour with many dates that started in December 2022 and will run well into 2025!
He will also complete a historic O2 Arena residency, performing one night every month starting in December 2022 and ending in November 2023.
To date, his most recent tour was back in 2011, so to say the demand for his newly announced tour is quite possibly the highest a British comedian has ever had.
Tickets are still available to purchase for a number of shows through 2023-2025. Check out the Peter Kay page to see the dates we have available.
