Stereophonics Tour 2027: Could the Welsh Rock Icons Return to the Stage?

Could a Stereophonics tour be coming in 2027? Following a major year of live shows in 2025, fans may already be looking ahead to when the Welsh rock band could return to UK stages.

Stereophonics announced their Stadium Anthems Summer '25 tour in October 2024, with shows scheduled across the UK and Ireland at venues including London's Finsbury Park, Glasgow's Bellahouston Park and Cardiff's Principality Stadium. Demand for the Cardiff homecoming resulted in a second Principality Stadium date being added.

As of September 2026, Stereophonics have not announced a 2027 UK tour, and their official website currently lists no upcoming shows.

However, their recent touring activity and extensive catalogue make the prospect of another Stereophonics tour an exciting one. Here, we look at what we know so far, where Stereophonics could perform in 2027 and which songs fans might hear if Kelly Jones and the band head back on the road.

There is, however, recent precedent for a substantial UK tour.

Stereophonics announced Stadium Anthems Summer '25 on Monday 7th October 2024. The original schedule featured Belfast's Belsonic, St Anne's Park in Dublin, Virgin Media Park in Cork, John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield, Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Finsbury Park in London and Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

A second Cardiff concert was subsequently added for Friday 11th July 2025, ahead of the original Saturday 12th July show.

The band also toured North America and Europe earlier in 2025, demonstrating the international scope of their recent live schedule.

Whether that touring momentum will lead to new Stereophonics concerts in 2027 remains to be seen.

When could Stereophonics announce a 2027 tour?

There is no confirmed announcement date for a potential Stereophonics 2027 tour.

Looking at the band's previous touring schedule can offer some context, although it should not be taken as an indication of future plans.

Stadium Anthems Summer '25 was announced on Monday 7th October 2024, approximately eight months before its opening scheduled date in Belfast on Thursday 5th June 2025.

Stereophonics also announced their 2025 North American tour on Monday 21st October 2024, followed by their European dates on Monday 28th October. Those shows began in March and April 2025 respectively.

Previous timings do not establish when another tour might be revealed, but fans interested in Stereophonics 2027 tour dates will be watching the band's official channels closely for any future announcements.

Where could Stereophonics tour in 2027?

Cardiff

As a Welsh band with longstanding ties to the country, a future Cardiff show would be a notable prospect. There is currently no confirmation, however, that Stereophonics will return to Principality Stadium in 2027.

London

London could also be a contender for any future Stereophonics UK tour.

The band's Stadium Anthems Summer '25 schedule included Finsbury Park on Friday 4th July 2025. Stereophonics later played The O2 on Thursday 18th December 2025.

Those performances show that the band have recently played both large outdoor and arena settings in the capital, potentially leaving several options should London feature on a future tour.

Glasgow

Glasgow was another city visited more than once during Stereophonics' 2025 live schedule.

The summer tour included Bellahouston Park on Saturday 28th June 2025, while the band later performed at the OVO Hydro on Wednesday 10th December.

There are no confirmed Glasgow dates for 2027, but the city has clearly featured prominently in the band's recent UK touring.

Manchester

Stereophonics performed at Manchester's Co-op Live on Friday 12th December 2025.

As one of the cities included in the band's most recent UK arena schedule, Manchester could be one to watch if a new run of concerts is announced.

Again, Cardiff, London, Glasgow and Manchester are not confirmed Stereophonics 2027 destinations. These possibilities are based solely on the band's recent touring history.

What could a Stereophonics 2027 setlist include?

There is no Stereophonics 2027 setlist without a confirmed tour, but the band's extensive catalogue offers plenty of possibilities.

‘Dakota’ would be among the most obvious candidates. Released in 2005, the track reached number one on the Official UK Singles Chart and remains Stereophonics' only UK number one single to date.

The announcement for Stadium Anthems Summer '25 also highlighted established songs including ‘Have A Nice Day’, ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, ‘C'est La Vie’ and ‘A Thousand Trees’ alongside ‘Dakota’.

A future Stereophonics setlist could also feature more recent material from Make 'em Laugh, Make 'em Cry, Make 'em Wait.

Released in April 2025, the eight-track album was produced by Kelly Jones and features songs including ‘Make It On Your Own’, ‘There's Always Gonna Be Something’, ‘Seems Like You Don't Know Me’ and ‘Colours Of October’.

If Stereophonics do return to touring in 2027, the depth of their catalogue would give them considerable scope to combine newer music with songs from across their career.

Why could another Stereophonics tour be significant?

Stereophonics have maintained a substantial presence in British rock across more than 25 years.

According to the band's official store, they have achieved eight UK number one albums, 12 UK top 10 albums and 11 UK top 10 singles. They have also sold more than 10 million albums and accumulated more than 1.5 billion global streams.

Their best-known chart success includes ‘Dakota’, which reached number one on the Official UK Singles Chart in March 2005.

Their 2025 touring programme also showed their continued ability to perform across stadiums, arenas, major outdoor locations and international venues.

A 2027 tour would therefore represent another opportunity for audiences to hear material spanning different periods of the band's career.

Could Stereophonics play stadiums in 2027?

It is too early to know what format a future Stereophonics tour might take.

Their 2025 schedule demonstrates that both stadium and arena concerts are possibilities.

The Stadium Anthems Summer '25 run included John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield and two shows at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, alongside major outdoor concerts at Finsbury Park and Bellahouston Park.

Later that year, the band moved into arenas, including the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Co-op Live in Manchester, M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool and The O2 in London.

If another Stereophonics UK tour is announced for 2027, it could therefore take the form of an arena tour, selected stadium concerts, outdoor summer dates or a combination of different venues.

Could Stereophonics release new music before 2027?

Stereophonics released Make 'em Laugh, Make 'em Cry, Make 'em Wait in April 2025. Produced by Kelly Jones, the album contains eight tracks and includes ‘There's Always Gonna Be Something’.
