The dust has barely settled from Wales 2019 triumph, yet we’re already looking ahead to the 2020 Guinness Six Nations. Like many excited rugby fans we’re wondering, who will be crowned the new Grand Slam Champions? Where will each match take place?

Read on to find out the upcoming fixtures, match dates and kick-off times you need to add to your calendar.

Round 1

Sat 1st Feb | Wales vs Italy | KO 14:15 | Principality Stadium Cardiff

Defending Six Nations Grand Slam champions Wales take on Italy, looking to open their 2020 Six Nations campaign with a victory. Italy will have to pull off a major upset as the Wales side go for back-to-back titles.

Sat 1st Feb | Ireland vs Scotland | KO 16:45 | Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Ireland kick-off their Six Nations campaign at home against old foes Scotland. The Scotland team will be looking to avenge their defeat in last year’s tournament, when they travel to the Aviva Stadium on the opening day.

Sun 2nd Feb | France vs England | KO 15:00 | Stade de France, Paris

France and England will face off at the Stade de France in Paris in their opening fixture of the 2020 Six Nations. England will look to go one place better than last year and win the tournament, which they haven’t won since 2017.

Round 2

Sat 8th Feb | Ireland vs Wales | KO 14:15 | Aviva Stadium, Dublin

The second round of fixtures begins with Wales travelling to Dublin to take on Ireland at the Aviva Stadium. Ireland’s dismal performance in the return fixture last year will certainly be on their minds, as they hope to turn around their fortunes against Wales.

Sat 8th Feb | Scotland vs England | KO 16:45 | BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh

The Calcutta Cup was retained last year by Scotland after a monumental second-half comeback against England. Scotland v England is one of the oldest fixtures in rugby and rarely lets us down as a true rugby spectacle.

Sun 9th Feb | France vs Italy | KO 15:00 | Stade de France, Paris

Italy will be hoping to get their first victory over France since 2012 when they travel to the Stade de France. France will be seeking a bonus point win to move them up the Six Nations table.

Round 3

Sat 22nd Feb | Italy vs Scotland | KO 14:15 | TBC, Rome

Often the dreaded ‘wooden spoon’ fixture in Six Nations history, Italy and Scotland hope that this won’t be the case when they meet in round 3 on Italian soil. The Scots ran out comfortable winners in the return fixture in 2019.

Sat 22nd Feb | Wales vs France | KO 16:45 | Principality Stadium, Cardiff

After letting a 16 point half-time lead slip out of the grasp, France will be looking to overturn the result when they travel to Cardiff to take on the defending champions.

Sun 23rd Feb | England vs Ireland | KO 15:00 | Twickenham Stadium, London

England’s dominant display over Ireland in Dublin a year earlier will certainly be on the minds of both players. It’s likely the Irish players will be looking to do exactly what England did to them in 2019.

Round 4

Sat 7th Mar | Ireland vs Italy | KO 14:15 | Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Ireland take on Italy at the Aviva Stadium in London hoping to add 5 points to the Guinness Six Nations tally for 2020. Italy face an uphill task having never beaten Ireland away from home.

Sat 7th Mar | England vs Wales | KO 16:45 | Twickenham Stadium, London

One of the most highly anticipated matches of the 2020 Six Nations. Wales travel to Twickenham hoping to replicate their home performance of 2019 while England will be out for revenge.

Sun 8th Mar | Scotland vs France | KO 15:00 | BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh

Scotland and France face off in round 4 of the 2020 Six Nations. The Scots lost to France in Paris last year but will hope the BT Murrayfield crowd can push them to a victory.

Round 5

Sat 14th Mar | Wales vs Scotland | KO 14:15 | Principality Stadium, Cardiff

After a hard-fought battle at Murrayfield in 2019, Scotland face a tough ask to turnover Wales in front of their patriotic fans at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.

Sat 14th Mar | Italy vs England | KO 16:45 | TBC Rome

Italy must employ their box of tricks to unsettle England, a team Italy have never beaten in their history. Who knows, maybe 2020 will be the year.

Sat 14th Mar | France vs Ireland | KO 20:00 | Stade de France, Paris

The final match of the 2020 Guinness Six Nations sees France host Ireland in Paris. The Irish have found it tough in Paris over the years as the French use their support to take them to victory.
