Home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford Stadium has hosted the most important tournaments in cricket history: the stadium has held the World Cup five times and is the second oldest test venue.  

As well as sporting events, Old Trafford Cricket Ground holds large-scale concerts. The 50,000 capacity venue in Greater Manchester, has seen the likes of Oasis, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Radiohead grace the stage.

Confirmed: The Killers

The Killers are hitting the road for an eight date stadium tour across the UK, in support of their sixth studio album, 'Imploding The Mirage.'

Fans can catch the indie rockers on Saturday 30th May, where they will make their Emirates Old Trafford debut. Stockport indie band, Blossoms will join them for their show in the North West.

Rihanna

Over the past two years, Rihanna has been concentrating on her beauty and fashion brand, Fenty Beauty. But it seems her return to music could come sooner than expected, as rumours intensity over a 2019 album release.

The Bad Girl confirmed the follow up to 2016's 'ANTI' is on the way; officially announcing her ninth studio album in her June 2018 Vogue cover story.

Adele

According to pop culture site Music News Facts, Adele's fourth studio album was due for release on 8th November 2019. Despite the rumour, there haven't been any signs of a new record, leaving fans hopeful for a Christmas release, instead.

Fans are also beginning to speculate over a Adele 2020 tour. Could the global megastar surprise them with a debut show at the stadium next summer?

Bruce Springsteen

Earlier this year, rock legend Bruce Springsteen revealed he will record a new album and tour with the E Street Band in 2020. Speaking to Italian news site Repubblica, he said, “I’ll record with the E Street Band in autumn, and when we’re done, we’ll go on tour.”

Although European dates are yet to be confirmed, fans anticipate The Boss will visit the UK. Could at date Manchester be on the cards? We wouldn't rule it out.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has been teasing her Little Monsters with tweets about her long awaited sixth studio album.

Throughout this year, the Grammy Award winning star has dropped hints that on her new record is underway.

Lady Gaga sent fans into meltdown, after claiming that she's going to call her new album ADELE, after the British singer songwriter.

The 'Born This Way' singer last toured the UK in 2017 with the 'Joanne World Tour'.

Although she only performed at Arena Birmingham and Genting Arena, she was forced to cancelled shows scheduled for Manchester Arena and London O2 Arena, due to pain from fibromyalgia.

If Lady Gaga comes back to the UK in 2020, out bets are on a huge tour including Emirates Old Trafford.

Beyoncé

2020 will mark Queen Bey's two year live hiatus, and with the new year just around the corner, the Beyhive are making a buzz about her return.

Following the news the 'Crazy in Love' singer is filming her new music video for 'Brown Skin Girl', new album and tour rumours are heightening.

Could Beyoncé return to Old Trafford if she hits the road next year? We think it could be very likely!

Coldplay

Following the release of Coldplay's eighth studio album, frontman Chris Martin shocked fans by announcing the band "won't be touring" their new record.

Martin told BBC news: "We're taking time over the next year or two, to work out how our tour can not only be sustainable [but] how [touring can] be actively beneficial."

But fans may still have chance of catching Coldplay in their 'Everyday Life' era; the British pop rock band have recently played one-off concerts in London and Amman, and plan to schedule in a couple more.

Taylor Swift

Back in 2018, Tay Tay brought her 'Repuation' tour to London, Manchester and Dublin for one night only.

Following the release of her seventh studio album 'Lover', Taylor Swift's only confirmed UK concert dates are Capital FM's 2019 Jingle Bell Ball and 2020 BST Hyde Park.

The 'Shake It Off' singer recently announced that she's scheduled to play a number of festivals 'for the first time in ages'. Taylor has since confirmed appearances at European festivals in 2020, but there has been no mention of major UK festivals so far.

Could she treat Swifties with  a surprise UK show, stopping at Old Trafford, instead?
