According to The Sun, the band 'struck a deal with BMW to tour in a “carbon neutral” way, thanks to specially produced electric trucks and vehicles.'
In a statement, the band said "we're very conscious that the planet is facing a climate crisis. So we've spent the last two years consulting with environmental experts to make this tour as sustainable as possible, and, just as importantly, to harness the tour's potential to push things forward."
The environmentally sustainable tour has seen the band's shows powered by 10% renewable energy. Solar installations have been featured at every concert venue, and energy was also generated from a kinetic stadium floor and kinetic bikes powered by fans.
