If you’re a UK K-pop fan, the news that ENHYPEN is the next group to tour Europe in 2026 will have reached you. They’ll be performing in London, and considering how rare a UK K-pop concert is, it’s exciting for all.

ENHYPEN have become one of K-pop’s most globally recognised groups since their debut in 2020, earning a dedicated fanbase known as ENGENE. As the group enters a new chapter in 2026 — including a major lineup change and the announcement of their Blood Saga World Tour — there has never been a better time for new fans to get to know the members.

If you’re considering going next March but you’re not super familiar with ENHYPEN, don’t fear. In this blog post we’ll take you through each member, their birthday, their position in the group, and some fun facts. You can read our ENHYPEN songs blog post too to get familiar with their discography.

Why ENHYPEN remain a global force

Formed through the survival show I-LAND, ENHYPEN quickly rose to international prominence with their polished performances and evolving musical identity. Their ability to connect storytelling concepts with performance has helped them stand out in an increasingly competitive global market.

In 2026, the group continues as a six-member act following a significant transition — marking a new phase in both their sound and identity.

The current members of ENHYPEN

Information was collected from KProfiles and was correct at the time of publishing.

Jungwon

  • Birthday: 9th February 2004
  • Position: Leader, Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer
  • Height: 174cm (5ft 8 ½ in)

Yang Jungwon is the leader of ENHYPEN, chosen due to him placing first in the I-LAND reality show that formed the group in 2020. Jungwon is the ‘cute one’, with big eyes and dimples when he smiles, made even more apparent by the fact that he’s the shortest in the group. He’s been training to be an idol since 2017 and was even a former SM and BigHit trainee, meaning he trained alongside the members of NCT.

Heeseung – Former member

  • Birthday: 15th October 2001
  • Position: Main Vocalist, Centre
  • Height: 181.5cm (5ft 11in)

Heeseung departed ENHYPEN on Monday 10th March 2026 to pursue a solo career, following discussions about musical direction.

As one of the group’s original members, he was recognised for his vocal ability and production involvement. His departure marks a significant moment in ENHYPEN’s journey, with both the group and Heeseung now moving forward on separate paths.

Jay

  • Birthday: 20th April 2002
  • Position: Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Vocalist
  • Height: 180cm (5ft 11in)

Jay Park (not to be confused with that Jay Park) was born in Seattle, Washington, meaning he’s fluent in English and Korean. He’s the dedicated mood maker of the group, always full of energy, talking, and being funny. He’s perfect ‘ENHYPEN funny moments’ fodder, and you’ll probably hear from him a lot on stage as one of the English speakers of the group.

Jake

  • Birthday: 15th November 2002
  • Position: Lead Dancer, Lead Vocalist
  • Height: 176cm (5ft 9in)

Sim Jake grew up in Australia, making him another English-speaking member of the group. Jake is charming and cute, and has a huge love of dogs. His own pet dog, Layla, is a border collie and is named after the Eric Clapton song. This love of dogs seems to bleed into his own lovable personality, but has also resulted in moments like a slightly cringeworthy puppy aegyo ending fairy.

Sunghoon

  • Birthday: 8th December 2002
  • Position: Vocalist, Dancer, Visual
  • Height: 181cm (5ft 11in)

Park Sunghoon is the dedicated visual of the group, making him ‘ENHYPEN’s most handsome member’ according to the other members. Of course Sunghoon knows how to smoulder, how to make his dimples pop and smile cutely, but he was also a figure skating prodigy before debuting as an idol. He won two silver medals in national ice skating competitions and represented South Korea in several international competitions, meaning that fans often associate him with ice.

Sunoo

  • Birthday: 24th June 2003
  • Position: Vocalist
  • Height: 175cm (5ft 9in)

Born Kim Seonwoo, Sunoo stands out for his unique fox-like eye shape that makes him both cute and striking. He’s always happy and bubbly, known affectionately by the other members as ‘happy virus’ as his positivity and funny personality is infectious. It’s a very important role in the group dynamic, as he balances any hardships or anxieties with a goofy and playful vibe. However he can quickly give a piercing stare that makes him fit right in with ENHYPEN’s vampire concept.

Ni-Ki

  • Birthday: 9th December 2005
  • Position: Main Dancer, Maknae
  • Height: 168cm (6ft 1in)

Ni-Ki is the youngest member of ENHYPEN, and is also the only Japanese member, born Nishimura Riki. Despite this, he is also the tallest and has a brooding vibe, so he’s not a typical cutesy maknae. Being the main dancer of the group, Ni-Ki is an incredibly talented and disciplined dancer, able to memorise choreography quickly and dance jazz and ballet. He was STUDIO CHOOM’s Artist of the Month in May 2024, and the video gives you a great idea of his dance talents.

A new era after Heeseung’s departure

The departure of Heeseung in March 2026 marked a turning point for ENHYPEN. While unexpected, the transition has set the stage for a refreshed group dynamic as the remaining six members move forward.

This shift is already shaping their next chapter, including their upcoming global tour.
