With the release of ‘Curtain Call 2’, the expectations are high for Eminem to announce a tour for 2023. Find out what we think about the chances of him coming to the UK next year.

Eminem revolutionised the rap game in the nineties and early 2000s, breaking into an industry that many thought he didn’t belong to and changing it for good.

These days, he is one of the most respected and celebrated rappers in the world, and any move he makes comes with adoration from his fans.

With a new album out, speculation of a 2023 tour is rife. While nothing has been said as of yet, we discuss the possibility of an Eminem UK tour.

Has Eminem released a new album?

Eminem’s most recent work is ‘Curtain Call 2’, a greatest hits album that sequels 2005’s ‘Curtain Call: The Hits’. It was released on 5th August 2022.

It comprises his top hits from across all his work since 2007, as well as three new songs with CeeLo Green, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent.

Eminem underwent something of a transformation between the release of ‘Curtain Call’ and ‘Curtain Call 2’.

With ‘Curtain Call 2’, fans can fully see the difference in his character through his various pieces of work over the years, a fact that his fans have praised.

Will Eminem tour again?

Nothing yet has been announced about a new tour for Eminem. However, when an artist releases a new album, they will usually promote it by going on tour.

Of course, this isn’t a normal album with all new songs by the artist, but instead, a compilation of Eminem’s best hits from over the years. But that only adds to the speculation that he will be taking to the road.

The prospect of Eminem going on tour and only performing some of his biggest hits is one that has every fan - even the most minor - excited.

What’s more exciting is who he could bring out during his tour.

Eminem is still signed to Aftermath Records (Dr. Dre’s record label), as he has been since 1999. He still regularly works with Dr. Dre, as well as acts associated with the label, such as Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar.

Eminem hinted at a new release between himself, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg, when he posted a picture of the three of them in a recording studio on social media.

The three also performed together at the 2022 Super Bowl Half-Time show in Los Angeles, California, along with Anderson .Paak, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

Any Eminem concert is a big deal and an unforgettable experience. But an Eminem concert with legends like those above? Historic.

Will Eminem tour the UK?

As mentioned, if he were to announce a tour of ‘Curtain Call 2’, or of any kind for that matter, it would be immensely popular, with fans from all over the world calling for him to visit their country.

Should Eminem announce a tour, it is very likely the UK would feature on the schedule for a number of dates.

Where he would perform is the question. With his level of star power, and if it is guaranteed to have star acts accompanying him on stage, he could very easily perform at stadiums with multiple London venues in his reach.

Cardiff’s Principality Stadium is another stadium that you could imagine filling out if Eminem were to perform there, as is BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

There are numerous stadiums and arenas around the UK that could play host to an Eminem concert and most likely would sell out.

Most recently, various news outlets started to report that MM is in 'advanced talks' to headline Glastonbury 2023. Its said that all the dates lineup, so it seems to be a big possibility to happen.

He would join Arctic Monkeys as a headliner on the Pyramid stage, with the band signing on for the third time.

Similar to Eminem, Arctic Monkeys are set to release a new album, so headlining Glastonbury along with a UK tour is expected.
