    Moss Pavilions | Day 1: Goodwood Festival of Speed

    Home to effortless entertaining at the festival, our private trackside Moss Pavilions are perfect for sharing a memorable Festival of Speed experience with your guests. Located close to the popular Supercar Paddock and all the incredible motorsport action on the hill, Moss Pavilions enjoy superb views of the start straight from their impressive position. With excellent service and delicious food, you are ensured an unforgettable day at the festival.

    Moss Pavilions have been named in honour of ‘Mr Goodwood’ himself, the legendary Sir Stirling Moss. Stirling took part in his first race at Goodwood’s first meeting, a day after his 19th birthday, in 1948. He won here more than any other driver, including four consecutive Tourist Trophies from 1958-61, and sadly suffered career-ending injuries in his last race here, on Easter Monday 1962. In retirement, he continued his close ties, becoming a patron of the Festival of Speed in 1993.

    Hill | Day 1: Goodwood Festival of Speed

    Renowned for the excellent views of the first corner enjoyed from its impressive position, this is home to effortless entertaining at Festival of Speed. You and your guests will catch the up-close track action right off the startline as you enjoy a day of incredible motorsport, seamless service and delicious food.

    Namesake Graham Hill secured his place in history as the first, and still the only, driver to claim the ‘Triple Crown of Motorsport’, winning the Monaco Grand Prix, the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. En route to his two Formula 1 World Championship titles, Hill became known as ‘Mr Monaco’ after winning the race around the principality five times between 1963 and 1969. He raced at Goodwood regularly, taking his first Formula 1 victory in 1962, and winning back-to-back Tourist Trophies in 1963 and ’64.

You will share a memorable Festival Speed experience with your guests as you take in views of Molecomb Corner. Renowned for its enviable proximity to the Formula 1 paddock and the dramatic views of the action from its impressive position, the Clark’s open style welcomes guests to enjoy superb service and delicious food.

    Namesake Jim Clark was a commanding presence on the track – widely accepted as the best driver in the world from the retirement of Stirling Moss in 1962 until his untimely death in 1968. As well as two Formula 1 World Championships, he won the 1965 Indianapolis 500, and competed with great success in sports cars, saloons and even rally cars, as well as single-seaters. He was a regular at Goodwood, winning the last two Formula 1 races at the circuit in 1964 and ’65, and sharing the historic lap record of 1m20.4s with fellow Scot Sir Jackie Stewart.

    Gurney | Day 1: Goodwood Festival of Speed

Renowned for the longest vantage point enjoyed from its impressive position – alongside seamless service and delicious food – this is home to effortless entertaining at the festival.

    Named after the much-admired driver, engineer and team owner Dan Gurney, this is perfect place to watch incredible skill and speed on display on the hill. An innovator with a fearless driving style, Gurney was the first American to win a Grand Prix in a car of his own construction – the achingly beautiful Eagle-Weslake T1G, at Spa in 1967. He was a Goodwood regular, and one of the all-time sporting heroes of the Duke of Richmond, with whom he formed a close friendship.

    The ultimate insider’s experience of Festival of Speed, Surtees combines unparalleled views of the action, exceptional cuisine prepared for you by Michelin-starred chef Ollie Dabbous, personalised concierge service and access to ‘Only at Goodwood’ moments with the unique, adrenaline-fuelled atmosphere of the event. This unmatched Festival of Speed experience is named in honour of the incomparable John Surtees. John was already a seven-time world champion on motorcycles, and winner of six Isle of Man TTs, when, in 1960, he switched to cars. Four years later, he won the Formula 1 World Championship, becoming the first, and still the only, person to win world championships on both two and four wheels. A lifelong friend of Goodwood, he became a patron of Festival of Speed in 1993.
