Essex Cricket Hospitality

Essex Cricket hospitality has a smart casual dress code in place. Ripped jeans and sportswear (including trainer shoes) are not permitted.

There are no age restrictions in place, and all areas are family friendly.

There is no parking at the ground during match days due to limited space.

Tickets for the T20 Blast start at £84pp. The fixture release date for the County Championship and One-Day Cup will happen soon.

You will receive your tickets 2-4 days before the event.

There is no limit on the amount of tickets you can buy from Seat Unique.

Seats in the Scrutton Bland Premier Suite have panoramic views of the ground from balcony seating. David Acfield Board Room seats also have balcony seating. The Executive Box has a private pitch-side veranda.

There are five executive boxes at Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.

The capacity of the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground is 6,500.

County Hotel – Located just a 10-minute walk from the ground, this is a stylish hotel with comfortable rooms, an on-site bar, and a brasserie. It’s a great choice for easy access to both the ground and Chelmsford’s city centre. Best Western Atlantic Hotel – Around a 15-minute walk to the ground, this hotel offers modern rooms, free parking, and an on-site restaurant, making it a convenient option for cricket fans. Premier Inn Chelmsford City Centre – Just under a mile from the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, this budget-friendly hotel provides comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant, and is close to Chelmsford’s shops and dining.

The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground is a cashless venue, so please remember to bring a bank card.

You may bring a reusable water bottle into the ground, which has water fountains and bars that provide free tap water.

You may bring a bag, but please note it will be searched on entry.

All entry points are suitable for those in a wheelchair. There are accessible car parking spaces, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see the Essex Cricket website for more information.

From London: Take the A12 to Junction 15 (A414) and follow signs to the stadium. By train: Nearest station: Chelmsford Railway Station (10-15 min walk). From London: National Express coaches run from Victoria to Chelmsford, stopping at the main bus station, a short walk away.
