The first test England Cricket played at the Utilita Bowl was from the 16th-20th which was unfortunately hampered by rain delays throughot the five days & ended in a draw.

England Cricket's 1st IT20 at Utilita Bowl

England v Australia took place at The Utiltia Bowl on 13th July 2005 with an emphatic win for England Cricket who batted first with a final score of 179/8. Australia responded poorly loosing 6 wickets for 5 runs, they managed to slightly steady themselves from 28/6 but utilimately succumbed to England's bowling attack with England winning by 100 runs.
