About Amyl and the Sniffers

Amyl and the Sniffers formed in Melbourne in 2016, with vocalist Amy Taylor joined by guitarist Declan Mehrtens, drummer Bryce Wilson and bassist Gus Romer. The group developed their sound through Australian pub rock and punk influences, combining short, direct songs with Taylor’s distinctive vocal delivery.

Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2019 and won Best Rock Album at the ARIA Awards. They followed it with Comfort to Me in 2021, featuring tracks including ‘Guided by Angels’, ‘Security’ and ‘Hertz’.
