About Steps
Steps formed in 1997 and are made up of Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Lee Latchford-Evans and Lisa Scott-Lee. Their upbeat dance-pop sound, coordinated choreography and immediately recognisable choruses helped establish them as one of Britain's defining pop groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Their catalogue includes ‘5,6,7,8’, ‘One for Sorrow’, ‘Tragedy’, ‘Stomp’, ‘Last Thing on My Mind’ and ‘Deeper Shade of Blue’, alongside later releases including ‘Scared of the Dark’ and ‘What the Future Holds’. Steps have achieved four UK number one albums, with Platinum Collection reaching the top of the Official Albums Chart in 2022.
Their most recent new group recordings also appeared on Platinum Collection, which included ‘Hard 2 Forget’ and ‘The Runner’. The group have not undertaken another full UK tour since their 25th anniversary live run in 2022, although their music has remained in the spotlight through Here & Now, the Steps musical, which has toured the UK and Ireland.
If Steps decide that 2027 is the right time to return to touring, their 30th anniversary could provide a fitting opportunity for another celebration of their extensive pop catalogue.

A Steps concert is built for fans who want to sing and dance along. Their established live shows combine colourful pop production, coordinated routines and a setlist packed with familiar choruses, bringing together tracks from their original chart run and the music released since their reunion.
If Steps tour again in 2027, you could expect their extensive back catalogue to give them plenty of material for an anniversary celebration. Nothing has yet been confirmed about the format or setlist of any potential shows, but a return would give fans another chance to enjoy the group's distinctive brand of feel-good British pop in a live setting.
