Laufey returned to the UK for an arena tour in 2026 as part of the live campaign surrounding her third studio album, A Matter of Time. The shows marked another step up in scale for an artist whose performances have grown from intimate concert settings to major international arenas.

Her most recent release, A Matter of Time: The Final Hour, arrived in 2026 as an expanded edition of her third album. The 19-track collection added four new songs to the Grammy Award-winning project, extending an era that already featured tracks including ‘Lover Girl’, ‘Snow White’, ‘Silver Lining’, ‘Tough Luck’ and ‘Sabotage’.

About Laufey

Laufey is an Icelandic-Chinese singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist who began releasing music professionally in 2020. Classically trained in cello and piano, she has built a sound influenced by traditional jazz, orchestral music and contemporary pop, introducing those styles to a new generation of listeners.

Her debut album, Everything I Know About Love, arrived in 2022 before Bewitched followed in 2023. The latter earned Laufey her first Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and included tracks such as ‘From the Start’, ‘Promise’ and ‘Lovesick’.

Her third album, A Matter of Time, continued that progression in 2025 and went on to earn the same Grammy honour. Laufey expanded the project with A Matter of Time: The Final Hour in 2026, adding further material to a catalogue that has grown alongside increasingly ambitious international live performances.

Laufey highlights

Laufey began her recording career in 2020 before releasing debut album Everything I Know About Love in 2022.
Her catalogue includes fan favourites such as ‘From the Start’, ‘Valentine’, ‘Let You Break My Heart Again’, ‘Promise’ and ‘Lover Girl’.
Bewitched earned Laufey the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
A Matter of Time continued her success and earned the same Grammy honour in 2026.
Laufey stepped up to arena-sized UK performances during her 2026 tour in support of A Matter of Time.
A Matter of Time: The Final Hour extended her latest musical chapter in 2026 with four new songs.

What are Laufey performances like?

Laufey performances combine the intimacy of jazz and classical music with the production of a modern pop concert. Her vocals can be accompanied by piano, guitar, cello and orchestral arrangements, allowing quieter moments to sit alongside more playful and upbeat songs.

Her recent arena performances have shown how that intimate style can translate to a much larger setting without losing the personal quality at the centre of her music. Songs from A Matter of Time have joined established favourites from Bewitched and Everything I Know About Love, giving her live shows material from across each stage of her career.

If Laufey returns to the UK in 2027, you could have another opportunity to experience that catalogue in a premium setting. Nothing has been confirmed regarding a potential 2027 production or setlist, so the format of any future performances would depend entirely on an official announcement.
