Who we're looking for

Seat Unique is in an exciting period of growth. With plans for international expansion and a growing list of partners, we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Marketplace Operations Executive to join our team. The Marketplace Operations Executive is a key role in developing Seat Unique’s online presence and is responsible for ensuring that our B2C marketplace operates at maximum effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be working with the internal supply, partnerships, sales and marketing teams, in addition to managing external relationships with suppliers. They will work on managing inventory on the site, building pages, and monitoring their effectiveness, as well as liaising with partners who input their content to the marketplace. This role will require exceptional organisational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement and streamlining.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all products are listed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work with partners to ensure that their content is inputted correctly and efficiently
  • Solutionise and propose technical improvements and automations to streamline processes and increase efficiency
  • Build and monitor the effectiveness of pages on the marketplace, including analyzing key metrics and making recommendations for improvements
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all parties are working collaboratively towards common goals
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all marketplace operations are standardized and streamlined
  • Identify areas for improvement within marketplace operations and work with the Head of Marketplace to develop and implement strategies to address them
  • Be adaptable and able to work to last-minute deadlines alongside strategic planning
  • Communicate effectively with team members, partners and stakeholders across the business
  • Have a passion for process improvement and streamlining
  • Search for new suppliers to increase the amount and diversity of products online


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in operations, preferably in a marketplace or e-commerce setting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Have excellent digital literacy
  • Must have impeccable attention to detail
  • Must be a fast learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Have confidence in decision making
  • Have an interest in sport, music and major live events
