Wales coach Warren Gatland has announced that Dafydd Jenkins will be the captain of the team. Despite being only 21 years old and having just 12 caps, Jenkins will become the second youngest player to lead his country, as Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake are unavailable.
Gatland has also included five players who have not yet made their international debut in the squad. Additionally, six players who are yet to make an appearance in the Six Nations have been named. However, Louis Rees-Zammit is not part of the squad as he has chosen to pursue a career in the NFL.
