Who did Tyson Fury last fight?

Tyson Fury’s last fight was against an opponent who he knows all too well in Derek Chisora. The two fought twice before, with Fury coming out on top both times.

The trilogy was something of a tune-up for Fury, who had been pushing for a blockbuster bout with Anthony Joshua before it fell through.

Fury vs Chisora 3 was held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 3rd December 2022, where 60,000 fans watched the ‘Gypsy King’ dominate Chisora for a TKO victory in the 10th round.

Who is Tyson Fury fighting next?

There has been a lot of talk surrounding an undisputed heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury, who holds the WBC title, and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who beat Anthony Joshua twice to win and defend the WBO, WBA, and IBF titles.

The fight looked set to happen with conversations seemingly going well. But suddenly a report came in late March to say it was off, and while some reporters tried to say there were still some talks ongoing, ultimately the mega showdown could not materialise.

That fight was meant to happen sometime in April. Now coming towards the end of the month, instead of seeing Fury in the ring against Usyk, we're hearing the news that his next fight is in the works.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn let slip that Fury's next fight could be a surprise bout against Andy Ruiz Jr - the guy who beat Anthony Joshua for all his belts back in 2019.

Ruiz was said to be taking on Deontay Wilder sometime this year, with the winner going on to face Fury. But with that never coming happen (a bit of a common theme with boxing), Ruiz has seemingly taken the spot and will be Tyson Fury's next fight with the WBC Heavyweight title on the line.

Nothing is confirmed yet, though, as this has so far been a leak from Hearn rather than official confirmation from either side.

When & Where is Tyson Fury fighting next?

As we say, there is nothing to confirm yet and not other details have been released about when and where the fight could happen.

However, some other rumours suggest Fury could be taking a fight this summer in London, so we will wait to see if those rumours come to be true and whether they are about a potential bout with Ruiz.

We will keep this blog updated with any new updates as and when they happen.
