The Marías in 2027: Could a New Tour Be on the Horizon?
Scroll DownLast updated by Jemima Todd on Tuesday 16th September 2026
The Marías have established themselves as one of alternative pop’s most distinctive acts, pairing María Zardoya’s vocals with atmospheric production, psychedelic influences and songs in both English and Spanish.
Following the success of their second studio album, Submarine, and an extensive period of live performances, attention is already turning towards what could come next for the Los Angeles-based band. Could 2027 bring another tour from The Marías, including a long-awaited return to the UK?

Are The Marías touring in 2027?
At the time of writing, The Marías have not announced a tour for 2027.
The band's official tour page currently has no upcoming events listed, meaning any dates, venues or destinations discussed for 2027 remain speculative until confirmed by The Marías or their representatives.
However, with their profile having grown significantly during the Submarine era, a future return to the stage would give fans another opportunity to hear the band's evolving catalogue live. For UK fans, that means there is a wait for official news. But another tour would follow several important years for the group, during which Submarine helped introduce their music to an increasingly wide international audience.
Why could The Marías tour again in 2027?
Released in 2024, Submarine marked the band's second studio album after 2021's Cinema. Songs including ‘Run Your Mouth’ and ‘No One Noticed’ became important parts of the group's live repertoire, while their subsequent touring schedule has taken them to increasingly prominent stages over.
Their 2025 performances included major US venues, and a September 2025 set in New York featured music spanning different stages of their career. ‘Hush’, ‘Heavy’, ‘Cariño’, ‘Run Your Mouth’ and ‘No One Noticed’ all appeared in the set, creating an introspective of their work for fans to consider.
That history provides some context for the possibility of further live dates, although it should not be considered evidence that a 2027 tour is planned. María Zardoya has also pursued her Not for Radio project. The project's debut album, Melt, arrived in October 2025 and was followed by a limited European and UK tour in 2026.
With both solo and band projects developing, what comes next for The Marías remains an interesting prospect.
Could The Marías return to the UK?
A UK return would be particularly welcome for fans who have followed the band since their previous appearances on this side of the Atlantic. The Marías toured the UK during the Submarine era in 2024 before continuing to perform internationally. There are currently no confirmed UK dates for 2027.
Should a new tour be announced, London would be a natural destination based on the band's previous UK appearances. Further cities could potentially form part of a wider run, but no venues or locations have been confirmed.
Until an official announcement arrives, prospective destinations should therefore be viewed purely as possibilities.
What could a 2027 setlist look like?
One of the most intriguing questions surrounding any future tour is how The Marías' setlist could develop.
Their September 2025 New York performance drew from across their catalogue, including ‘Cariño’, ‘Hush’, ‘Heavy’, ‘Run Your Mouth’ and ‘No One Noticed’.
If the band return to touring in 2027, material from Submarine could remain central to their live shows. Earlier favourites from Cinema and the band's EP releases could also continue to feature.
Any new music released before a potential tour would naturally change that picture. The band have previously spoken about wanting their sound to continue evolving rather than repeating earlier projects, making their next musical direction particularly interesting.
A speculative 2027 setlist could therefore feature songs such as:
- ‘No One Noticed’
- ‘Run Your Mouth’
- ‘Cariño’
- ‘Hush’
- ‘Heavy’
- ‘Only in My Dreams’
- ‘Real Life’
- ‘Lejos de ti’
- ‘Paranoia’
- ‘Nobody New’
The final selection would depend entirely on the band's plans and any new releases before they return to the road.
What could fans expect from a future The Marías tour?
The Marías' music has a strong visual and atmospheric identity, something that has translated naturally to their live performances.
Zardoya has previously discussed how the group considers the live potential of songs once they have been written, with drummer and producer Josh Conway also serving as musical director. The relationship between the recordings and their live presentation could make a future tour particularly significant if it accompanies a new chapter for the band.
A 2027 run could offer the opportunity to develop the visual world established around Submarine or introduce an entirely different production concept alongside new music. For now, however, fans will have to wait to discover what The Marías have planned.
When could The Marías go on sale?
There is currently no confirmed on-sale date for The Marías tickets in 2027, as no tour has been announced.
Should UK concerts be revealed, official information on dates, venues and ticket releases is expected to follow through the band's recognised channels.

Could The Marías make 2027 their next major touring year?
A 2027 tour remains speculation, but there would be plenty for fans to look forward to should The Marías announce their return.
Their catalogue now stretches from early favourites such as ‘Cariño’ through Cinema and the acclaimed Submarine era, giving the group considerable material to draw upon for another live chapter.
Whether that next chapter arrives in 2027 remains to be seen. For now, there are no confirmed dates – but any announcement of new music or live performances will offer a clearer indication of what lies ahead.
