Seat Unique has extended its partnership with Burnley FC for a further two seasons after driving 57% of all new hospitality bookings at Turf Moor during the 2025/26 season.

Seat Unique operates as Burnley FC’s Exclusive Premium Ticket and Hospitality Partner, connecting supporters with official premium matchday experiences at Turf Moor. Since the beginning of the partnership at the start of the 2023/24 season, orders placed through Seat Unique have grown by 47%, with growth driven by new customers discovering Burnley FC’s premium offering through the platform for the first time.

The renewal comes at a time of increasing demand for premium live sport experiences. The global live events market is valued at approximately $500 billion in 2026 (Business Research Insights, 2026), driven by a sustained shift towards experiences over material possessions and the rapid growth of premium hospitality as the fastest-expanding segment of live events. Mastercard research found that 50% of British consumers expected to spend more on experiences compared to the previous year, with 80% affirming that spending on experiences is usually, or always, worth it (Mastercard, 2024).

Against that backdrop, Seat Unique’s marketplace is helping rightsholders unlock demand beyond their existing hospitality databases, introducing clubs to new premium audiences at scale. Across Seat Unique’s wider football partner network, 90% of premium buyers are new to hospitality, one in five customers purchase from overseas, and 79% complete their booking via mobile - highlighting the platform’s role in making premium matchday experiences more accessible, discoverable and commercially effective.

Seat Unique first partnered with Burnley FC in 2023 to power the club’s online premium and hospitality sales, helping launch a new premium ticketing category and modernise access to match-by-match hospitality at Turf Moor. In the first year of the partnership, Seat Unique reported that Burnley FC’s online premium and hospitality sales increased by 60%, with nearly half of sales attributed to Seat Unique marketing activity and one third of buyers coming from overseas. 

The next phase of the partnership will focus on further growing digital demand, expanding access to official hospitality products and helping Burnley FC convert first-time premium buyers into long-term supporters of the club’s matchday experiences.
