Historical Information

Hill Dickinson Stadium is a newly built waterfront leisure and entertainment venue in North Liverpool, officially opening for the 2025/26 Premier League season. The stadium, home to Everton’s men’s team, has also been confirmed as a host venue for the 2028 UEFA European Championships and the 2025 Rugby League Ashes.

Previously, Everton’s home ground was Goodison Park, a 39,414-capacity stadium in Walton, Liverpool. Goodison Park is now the permanent home of Everton Women, making it one of the largest dedicated women’s football stadiums in the UK.

How to get to Hill Dickinson Stadium

By Bus

Shuttle buses will run regularly from Liverpool City Centre (Lime Street and Liverpool ONE) and Bootle Town Centre to Hill Dickinson Stadium. Bus routes 20, 26, 47, 56, and T054 also serve the area.

By Train

Sandhills Station is the nearest train station, with connections to Liverpool city centre and destinations including Southport, Ormskirk, Kirkby, and south Liverpool. 

By Car

Liverpool City Council will introduce a ‘Football Match Parking Zone’ around the stadium. Parking must be pre-booked in advance. Taxis are available both in the city centre and at the stadium with dedicated taxi ranks and coach parking will be available near the stadium.
