Since their formation in 2010, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds discography features three studio albums, with the latest album release being ‘Who Built the Moon?’ in 2017.

The latest music from Noel and co came at the beginning of this year, when they released the second single from their upcoming album titled ‘Easy Now’. The High Flying Birds released the album's first psychedelic single ‘Pretty Boy’ at the end of 2022.

Gallagher and the High Flying Birds have just released their fourth and most recent album 'Council Skies'. The band have experienced a shift in style as the work moves towards an ‘orchestral’ sound.

When talking about the new record to Radio X, Gallagher stated “It’s going back to the beginning. Daydreaming, looking up at the sky and wondering about what life could be... that’s as true to me now as it was in the early ‘90s. When I was growing up in poverty and unemployment, music took me out of that”.

When Did Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Last Tour?

In 2022, Noel completed a short tour of festival dates across the UK but did not perform at any arenas or stadiums.

The High Flying Birds last full scale European tour was the ‘Stranded On Earth World Tour’ in 2017 in support of their third studio album ‘Who Built the Moon?’.

The tour consisted of 123 dates across North America, Europe, Asia and South America, starting at Detroit Masonic Temple in Detroit, USA and ending in Live Park in Bangkok, Thailand.

The European leg of the tour included 32 dates across the UK, with dates at AO Arena Manchester, Utilita Arena Birmingham, Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham, First Direct Arena, Leeds and a huge homecoming gig at Heaton Park.

Are Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Touring in 2023?

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have announced that they will be hitting the road later this year on their ‘2023 UK Arena Tour’, set to take place after the release of their highly anticipated fourth studio album ‘Council Skies’.

The tour consists of seven dates at arenas across the country, including First Direct Arena, Leeds, Utilita Arena, Birmingham, and OVO Hydro, Glasgow.

The tour will begin on the 30th of August at Hull’s Bonus Arena and will end at M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool, on the 21st of December.
