Muse are firmly back on the road in 2026, with The Wow! Signal Tour taking the British rock band across North America before a major run of UK and European arena shows later in the year
With Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard supporting their tenth studio album, The Wow! Signal, attention is already turning to what could come next. Could Muse extend their latest touring era into 2027 — and could more UK shows be announced?
While Muse have not confirmed any 2027 tour dates at the time of writing, their extensive 2026 schedule gives fans plenty to consider. Here is everything we know about Muse's 2026 tour and the possibility of further concerts in 2027.
Are Muse touring in 2026?
Yes. Muse are touring extensively throughout 2026, following the release of The Wow! Signal on Friday 26th June 2026.
The band have spent the summer performing across North America as part of The Wow! Signal Tour. Their official tour schedule includes dates in major US cities before the North American run concludes with a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Monday 31st August 2026.
Muse will then return to the UK and Europe for The Wow! Signal Europa Tour later in the year.
For UK fans, the confirmed arena dates include:
- Thursday 12th November 2026 — Co-op Live, Manchester
- Friday 13th November 2026 — Co-op Live, Manchester
- Sunday 15th November 2026 — The O2, London
- Monday 16th November 2026 — The O2, London
Will Muse tour in 2027?
At present, Muse have not announced a 2027 tour.
However, it is reasonable to wonder whether The Wow! Signal touring cycle could continue beyond the band's confirmed 2026 concerts.
The album was only released in June 2026, while the UK and European arena leg does not begin until later in the year. An extension into 2027 could therefore give Muse another opportunity to perform material from the record — although any additional dates remain speculation until confirmed by the band.
Ticketmaster's Muse page is currently headed "2026-27 Tour & Concert Dates", but the UK and international concerts displayed at the time of writing are dated in 2026. That distinction is important: there are currently no confirmed Muse 2027 concerts listed there.
Fans should therefore treat reports of a 2027 tour cautiously until an official announcement is made.
Could Muse announce more UK shows?
Further UK dates would undoubtedly be significant news, but there is currently no confirmation that Muse will add another UK leg in 2027.
The band's existing November schedule takes them to two of the country's leading indoor arenas, Co-op Live and The O2. With two nights confirmed in both Manchester and London, Muse already have a substantial UK arena presence planned for 2026.
Nevertheless, the scale of Muse's live productions means that speculation about future arena or stadium dates is understandable.
Speaking to NME about the 2026 UK and European shows, Bellamy revealed that the band had ambitious production ideas for the tour, including plans involving a "spaceship" and new uses of lasers.
Whether that production eventually reaches additional UK venues in 2027 remains to be seen.
Could Muse play UK festivals in 2027?
Another possibility fans may consider is a return to the UK festival circuit.
No Muse UK festival appearances for 2027 have been confirmed at the time of writing, so any potential festival dates remain purely speculative.
Muse do, however, have considerable experience headlining major outdoor events. If their The Wow! Signal era continues into next summer, festival appearances could provide one route for further live performances without necessarily forming part of another full UK arena tour.
For now, fans will need to wait for official announcements before making plans.
What could a Muse 2027 setlist look like?
Should Muse announce concerts for 2027, The Wow! Signal would be likely to remain an important part of the live show given that it is the band's latest studio album.
Muse's concerts also have a substantial back catalogue to draw from. Songs including ‘Supermassive Black Hole’, ‘Starlight’, ‘Time Is Running Out’, ‘Uprising’ and ‘Knights of Cydonia’ have become closely associated with the band's live performances over the years.
Exactly what would make a hypothetical 2027 setlist is impossible to predict. However, a continuation of The Wow! Signal touring cycle could potentially combine material from the new record with established tracks from albums including Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations and The Resistance.
What can fans expect from Muse's 2026 live shows?
Muse have built a reputation for large-scale concert production, and the plans discussed for their forthcoming European shows suggest that visual presentation will once again play a major role.
Bellamy told NME in June 2026 that the band were exploring both a spaceship concept and laser technology for the arena tour.
Those ideas are particularly intriguing ahead of Muse's four confirmed UK concerts in November.
The performances at Co-op Live and The O2 will also give UK audiences their opportunity to experience the The Wow! Signal era live before the end of 2026.
When could Muse announce 2027 tour dates?
There is currently no confirmed announcement date for further Muse concerts.
If the band does decide to continue touring in 2027, details could potentially arrive before or during the UK and European leg of The Wow! Signal Europa Tour. This is speculation rather than confirmed information, however, and fans should follow Muse's official channels for announcements.
Muse's official website continues to publish the band's confirmed live schedule, making it an important source for any future additions.
