The ‘Material Girl’ hasn’t brought out new music since 2019, when she brought out the ‘Madame X’ album.

At the time of writing, there is no confirmed Madonna tour in 2023. However, there are rumours and speculation of one to come, as a source for The Sun had told them that she wants to do her first-ever compilation tour, playing all her best hits.

The source has said, “She wants to capitalise on tracks like Frozen and Material Girl popping off on TikTok, and introduce her back catalogue to an entirely new generation”.

Madonna is celebrated for, really many things, with one being her ability to reinvent herself to market her music to new audiences, and this would be another example of that.

Being that she is in her mid-sixties, a new album may not be as high up on her list of things to do, so this seems like the perfect way to bring back her old fans and gain some new ones too.

As per the source, The Sun has also revealed that this next tour “will be in stadiums, with the O2 already confirmed”.

This is in contrast to the ‘Madame X Tour’, which as mentioned earlier was played at the much smaller London Palladium.

As for other venues, she has previously played at the Manchester AO Arena, Utilita Arena Birmingham, and the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. These are all major venues in the UK that could feature once more on her tour.
