How did Liam Gallagher drop a hint that Oasis were reforming at his Reading Festival headline set?

Over the years there's been no shortage of rumours that Liam and Noel could reunite - after a series of blazing rows that forced the band to split back in 2009.

The latest rumour of their getting back together started when the official Oasis social media account announced that there will be a re-release of 'Definitely Maybe' for its 30th anniversary. It will include unheard versions of the album's classic songs.

When Liam headlined Reading Festival on Sunday 26th August, playing 'Definitely Maybe' in full, he also dropped a huge hint that the band would be reforming for their 2025 tour.

In the background of his set, he beamed the Instagram message that would also appear on both Noel and the offical Oasis' Instagram accounts, with just the date '27.08.24' and the time '8am'.

What we know now is that this was the date and time that the band would announce their huge series of gigs happening in the UK in 2025.
