How do the Play-offs work in League Two?

In League Two, four teams are promoted to League One each season, with the top three teams in the table gaining automatic promotion. The playoffs then determine who gets the fourth and final promotion.

The League Two Play-offs are an exciting series of matches that take place between the teams finishing 4th to 7th in the League Two table. These playoffs consist of a semi-final round where the team in 4th plays against the team in 7th, and the team in 5th competes with the team in 6th. The winners of each exciting semi-final match will then advance to the highly anticipated League Two Play-off Final.

Whichever team wins the 2023/24 League Two Play-offs, will join champions Stockport County, Wrexham and Mansfield Town in moving up to League One next season.
