How do the Play-offs work in League Two?

In League Two, four teams are promoted to League One each season, with the top three teams in the table gaining automatic promotion. The playoffs then determine who gets the fourth and final promotion.

The League Two Play-offs are a series of matches that take place between the teams that finish 4th to 7th in the League Two table.

The first round of the playoffs is the semi-final round, where the matchups are the team in 4th playing the team in 7th, and the team in 5th playing the team in 6th.

The winners of each semi-final progress to the League Two Play-off Final.

How much do you get for winning League Two Play-offs?

The winning team of the League Two Play-off Final received a trophy and progressed into League One for the following season.

This promotion was estimated to be worth around £3 million.

What happens if you finish last in League Two?
