The Fugees first announced their much-anticipated reunion tour in 2022. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the tour - which was set to celebrate their iconic 1996 album, 'The Score' - was completely cancelled in 2022.

Why did the Fugees break up?

The Fugees formed in 1992 and quickly rose to prominence as one of the most revered hip-hop groups of the era, known for their socially conscious music. However, according to a Huffington Post article, their journey came to an abrupt halt in 1997 when they disbanded.

In his autobiography 'Purpose', Wyclef Jean disclosed the true reason behind the Fugees' split in 2012. Jean detailed how Hill's pregnancy with her first child Zion led to a significant rift within the group.
