Khalid's New Album, ‘Everything Is Changing’

Khalid’s new album ‘Everything Is Changing’ was originally scheduled to be released towards the end of 2021. Of course, we are nearing the end of 2022 now and there is no album.

The first single from the album, ‘New Normal’, dropped on 21st July 2021, showing the album was supposed to come soon after.

Yet Khalid fans are still waiting for the album, and maybe that is a blessing in disguise.

Talking to Billboard, he described his inspiration for the album as “an album that really takes that a step further with all of the songs centreing around trying to find a purpose and a sense of self in a world where everything is digitally connected but emotionally disconnected”.

Will there be a Khalid UK Tour?

When Khalid does eventually announce the album, it will surely be followed by an announcement of a tour. And given the fact that his last tour was a world tour, it is highly likely that he will return to the UK with a number of dates.

He is currently performing at a number of collaborative concerts across America until the end of 2022, including the KIIS FM Jingle Ball.

From May until September 2023, Khalid will be supporting Ed Sheeran on the North American leg of his tour.

So a solo UK tour in 2023 is looking rather unlikely, however, his new album could drop any time now, and it would make sense he does it before embarking on the long tour with Sheeran.
