The Europa Conference League has been going strong in its second season after a successful rookie year that saw AS Roma come away as the inaugural champions.

As the competition heads deeper into the knockout stages, we're keeping you updated on the key information for this year’s competition, including the teams involved, draw dates, fixture dates, and how you can secure premium matchday hospitality for select games.

Europa Conference League knockout rounds

The Europa Conference League knockout rounds have already seen the knockout round playoffs, Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals producing some memorable matches.

The competition is now heading into the next round, the Semi-final stage, with only four teams left.

Europa Conference League Semi-final matches

Following the Quarter-Final round, the draw for the Europa Conference League Semi-Finals has now been confirmed.

After their 5-2 hammering of Gent in the Quarter-Final round, West Ham will face off against AZ Alkmaar, who defeated Anderlecht 4-1 on penalties in the last round.

Italian side Fiorentina defeated Lech Poznan 6-4 on aggregate to book their place in the Semi-Final against FC Basel, who dispatched Ligue 1 team Nice in the previous round.

The draw ended up looking as such:

  • West Ham vs AZ Alkmaar
  • Fiorentina vs FC Bazel

The Semi-final matches will be played on these dates:

  • 1st Leg - 11th May
  • 2nd Leg - 18th May

Europa Conference League Final

The Europa Conference League final will be held on 7th June 2023 at the Fortuna Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.

It is a 21,000-capacity stadium - the biggest and most modern in the country - and will be hosting its third UEFA competition final, with the 2013 UEFA Super Cup and 2015 U21 Euro final being played there.

West Ham is the Premier League’s representative for the competition this season, having successfully navigated their way through the qualifiers and finishing first in the group stage.

The Hammers are making their first appearance in the ECL. They competed in the Europa League last season and had a very respectable run that saw them get all the way to the semi-finals, where they were knocked out by eventual winners, Eintracht Frankfurt.

With that behind them, the London side should feel confident in a strong run in this competition. Another strong European competition finish will do wonders for the club, especially if they were to win it all.
