Who are England Men & Women playing in summer 2023?

England Men will be playing against Australia, New Zealand and Ireland in the UK this year and will be touring Bangladesh and the West Indies.

England Women will face off against Australia and Sri Lanka at venues across the UK.

How many matches are England playing in 2023?

England Men

In June 2023, The Oval will host the Men's World Test Champions Final between the top two teams left in the competition. According to icc-cricket.com, Australia and South Africa are currently the top two teams in the standings.

The Men's Ashes is also set to return to the UK in 2023, with England v Australia's First Test at Edgbaston running from the 16th - 20th June, the Second Ashes Test at Lord's from the 28th June - 2nd July, the Third Ashes Test at Headingley from 6th - 10th July, the Fourth Ashes Test at Emirates Old Trafford from 19th - 30th July, and the Fifth Ashes Test at Kia Oval from the 27th - ย 31st July. England will also compete at home in the Vitality IT20 against New Zealand throughout late August and early September, as well as four ODI matches against New Zealand at Sophia Gardens, The Ageas Bowl, The Kia Oval and Lords Cricket Ground, and three against Ireland at Headingley, Seat Unique Stadium and Trent Bridge.

England Women

The 2023 Women's Ashes will also take place in the UK in 2023, with England Women and Australia Women meeting at Trent Bridge for the LV Insurance test matches from the 22nd to the 26th of June.

The two teams will also meet at Edgbaston on the 1st of July, The Kia Oval on the 5th of July and Lords Cricket Ground on the 8th of July for three Vitality T20I 2023 Ashes matches.

The 2023 Women's Ashes Series will culminate with three ODI matches at Seat Unique Stadium on the 12th of July, The Ageas Bowl on the 16th of July and the Cooper Associates County Ground on the 18th of July.

In September of 2023, England Women will also play host to Sri Lanka Women for three IT20 matches at The Cloud County Ground, The Incora County Ground and Seat Unique Riverside, as well as three ODI games at Uptonsteel County Ground, The 1st Central County Ground and The Spitfire Ground.
