Celine Dion has had some difficulties getting her world tour off the ground since its original start date in 2019.
With COVID-19 bringing a halt to the North American stretch and health issues further pushing the resumption back, the ‘Courage World Tour’ has had a rough going.
But finally, despite still recovering, the Canadian megastar herself revealed to her fans that the tour will go on in 2023.

What has happened with the ‘Courage World Tour’?
The ‘Courage World Tour’ officially started on 18th September 2018 in her home of Quebec, Canada, at the Videotron Centre.
It first ran until 8th March 2020, with the “Because You Loved Me” singer completing 52 shows in North America before COVID-19 brought the tour to a halt.
The North American leg of the tour was first rescheduled to 2021, then to 2022. As for the European and UK dates, it was decided in February 2021 that they were to be moved to 2022.
When January 2022 came around, Dion had to announce the cancellation of the remaining 2022 North American dates, citing ongoing recovery from health issues. The European dates were also moved to 2023 for the same reason.
The state of play now is that the tour is scheduled to go ahead in 2023, with only European dates scheduled from February to October.
When did Celine Dion last tour the UK?
Celine Dion last toured the UK in 2017 with the ‘Celine Dion Live 2017’ tour.
It was a short tour, lasting from 15th June - 5th August, with 25 shows across eight countries; England, Scotland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland.
The tour was in support of her 2016 French-language album ‘Encore Un Soir’. She performed songs from the album, as well as a number of fan favourites, such as ‘The Power of Love’ and ‘All By Myself’.
What & where are Celine Dion’s tour dates in the UK?
The ‘Courage World Tour’ will start back up in Prague, Czech Republic, on 24th February 2023, and will end in Helsinki, Finland, on 4th October 2023.
As for the UK dates, Dion will visit three cities in England, - Birmingham, Manchester, and London - with two shows each, and is also scheduled to go to Glasgow, Scotland for two shows.
