Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are ready to begin their summer Las Vegas residency, but we think that the pair have more concert dates hidden up their flared sleeves!

After a hugely successful solo-career, Mars is now focused on building the sound and image of Silk Sonic, leaving fans even more desperate to see the star back on stage.

The latest releases from Bruno Mars have seen him team up under the group name of ‘Silk Sonic’ to collaborate with his friend and uber-talented musician, Anderson .Paak.

Mars and .Paak’s music has developed into an artistically mixed style of funk, soul, pop, and RnB that has created a fresh yet reminiscent 70s style and tone.

So far, the pair have released one album titled ‘An Evening With Silk Sonic’ that has brought in multiple awards for Bruno and Anderson including International Group at the 2022 Brit Awards.

With popular songs such as ‘Leave The Door Open’ and ‘Skate’, Silk Sonic have gained great attention and praise for creating songs using classic instruments and amazing vocals to reflect their musical inspirations, while moving away from the use of simulated sound.

When did Bruno Mars last go on tour?

Bruno Mars last toured internationally in 2018 to celebrate his third studio album titled ‘24K Magic’. This marked the star’s fourth tour and saw Bruno travel the world to perform to fans across America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Mars took the lead in planning the shows and wanted to play a part in every aspect of it to ensure that it fit his vision of a ‘big party’ atmosphere.

Due to the pandemic, the ‘Just The Way You Are’ singer has not completed a large-scale tour since but is currently set to perform a Las Vegas summer residency with Anderson .Paak titled ‘An Evening with Silk Sonic’.

Will there be a Bruno Mars UK tour 2023?

Bruno Mars has not officially confirmed an upcoming UK tour but he and Anderson .Paak have dropped a couple of hints that have suggested they could be crossing the pond sooner than we think.

In the ‘Big Interview’, Silk Sonic expressed hope that they would be able to tour together in 2022 and take their joint project on the road and get back to their international fans.

The duo also teased us at the Brit Awards when they virtually accepted their award and told UK fans that they “can’t wait to get back over there and see you guys really soon”.

We anticipate that due to the mass popularity of their album, Silk Sonic will remain together to complete a tour, rather than going solo.

With the pair seemingly keen to get back to touring, we think that plans are already in the works for this funky duo to bring their live music to fans across the globe.

What can I expect from a Silk Sonic tour?

If the Las Vegas residency is any indicator, then on tour we can expect to hear tracks from Silk Sonic’s album as well as some solo performances of Mars and .Paak’s most popular songs.  

We also know that Bruno has also been working on the development of his clothing line, so if he tours, you can expect to see him and Anderson in bright and funky colours, inspired by and reminiscent of the style of Earth, Wind & Fire.
