UFC president Dana White recently announced plans for a pay-per-view event and expressed his desire to include heavyweight fighter Tom Aspinall and welterweight champion Leon Edwards on the card.
Aspinall confirmed in a TikTok video that he had a meeting with the UFC and that he has been confirmed to fight at the upcoming UFC Manchester event. Aspinall, who won the interim title last November, is expected to defend his title while the champion, Jon Jones, is sidelined with an injury. Although Aspinall travelled to Las Vegas for UFC 300, he is now back in England and in the early stages of his training camp for the upcoming fight.
