Northern Superchargers are a franchise 100-ball cricket side. Both the men's and women's team play their home games at Headingley Stadium, the home of Yorkshire Cricket. The men’s team is led by England all-rounder Ben Stokes, and features international players such as Harry Brook and Adil Rashid. The women's team is led by all-rounder Hollie Armitage and includes Aussie ace Alyssa Healy.

In the new season both Northern Superchargers teams will be looking to improve upon their 2nd and eighth-place finishes in 2023, and earn a place in The Hundred Eliminator.

The team represents the traditional areas of the North East and Yorkshire in The Hundred competition, which began in 2021. This year, Northern Superchargers will face Birmingham Phoenix, Oval Invincibles, Manchester Originals and Welsh Fire at Headingley as they compete for the title.
