About Weezer

Formed in Los Angeles in 1992, Weezer became one of alternative rock’s most recognisable bands following the release of their self-titled debut album in 1994. Their music combines distorted guitars, power-pop melodies and sharply observed lyrics, while later releases have explored orchestral pop, hard rock and more experimental styles. Their best-known songs include ‘Buddy Holly’, ‘Say It Ain’t So’, ‘Undone – The Sweater Song’, ‘Island in the Sun’, ‘Beverly Hills’ and ‘Pork and Beans’, which earned the band a Grammy Award for Best Music Video. Their 2027 tour supports their 20th studio album, the self-titled Weezer, commonly known as The Gold Album.
