About Heart

Heart is an American rock band that was formed in 1973 in Seattle, Washington. The band was initially formed by founding members Roger Fisher (guitar) and Steve Fossen (bass guitar), who had previously played together in several other projects like The Army (1967-1969), Hocus Pocus (1969-1970), and White Heart (1970-1973). However, Heart gained widespread recognition and success after the addition of the Wilson sisters, Ann Wilson (lead singer) and Nancy Wilson (guitarist and second vocalist).

Heart is known for their signature rock sound and powerful performances. They released numerous albums throughout their career, with notable hits including "Magic Man" (1976), "Barracuda" (1977), "These Dreams" (1986), and "Alone" (1987). The band has consistently sold millions of records and has had several comebacks in their career, exploring different genres and experimenting with their sound.

Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson have been integral members of Heart since the early 1970s, with Ann serving as the lead singer and Nancy contributing as a guitarist and second vocalist. They have been recognized as pioneers, being among the first women to front a hard rock band successfully.

Heart's discography includes 15 studio albums, nine live albums, nine compilation albums, 64 singles, and 35 music videos. The band has sold around 35 million records worldwide. Heart continues to create music, perform live, and have a dedicated fanbase.
