About Elbow

Elbow are an alternative rock band formed in Greater Manchester in the 1990s. Fronted by Guy Garvey, the group developed a distinctive sound combining atmospheric rock, orchestral textures and thoughtful songwriting, earning widespread recognition through albums including Asleep in the Back, The Seldom Seen Kid, Build a Rocket Boys! and Little Fictions.

Their 2008 album The Seldom Seen Kid won the Mercury Prize and produced some of their best-known songs, including ‘Grounds for Divorce’ and ‘One Day Like This’. Elbow have since continued to evolve while retaining the melodic and lyrical style that has made them an enduring part of British alternative music.

The band’s more recent work includes their tenth studio album, AUDIO VERTIGO, released in 2024, which reached number one in the UK. They followed it in 2025 with AUDIO VERTIGO ECHO elbow EP5, featuring ‘Adriana Again’ alongside newer tracks including ‘Sober’, ‘Timber’ and ‘Dis-Graceland 463–465 Bury New Road’.

Their continued studio output and recent UK performances mean there could be plenty for fans to look forward to if Elbow choose to return for another UK tour in 2027.
