By car: From the A64: Take the A19 exit toward York City Centre and follow the signs for the Barbican Centre. Parking: There is a Q-Park behind the York Barbican where you can pre-book a spot. It's located on Kent Street, and parking for six hours costs around £7.50. Parking spaces for those with mobility needs are also available. By train: York Railway Station is about 20 minutes on foot from the York Barbican. Trains from major cities like London, Edinburgh, and Manchester serve this station frequently. Walking Route: Exit the station and follow the signs toward the city centre, heading toward Paragon Street where York Barbican is located​. By bus: Local bus services, including First York buses, operate frequently and have stops near York Barbican. The number 4 bus stops close by, as well as routes 8, 24, and 26. You can get off at stops such as Fishergate or York Stonebow, both of which are short walks from the venue.
