The tour will also include two special homecoming shows at Glasgow's OVO Hydro.

About Texas

Texas are a Scottish band that was formed in 1986 by Johnny McElhone, who was formerly a member of the bands Altered Images and Hipsway. The band consists of lead vocalist Sharleen Spiteri and several members including Tony McGovern, Johnny McElhone, Ally McErlaine, Eddie Campbell and Cat Myers.

They made their performing debut in March 1988 at the University of Dundee and took their name from the 1984 Wim Wenders film 'Paris, Texas'.

Texas rose to prominence in the late 1980s and became highly popular for its radio-friendly hits in the rock/pop genre. Their music has been described as alternative pop/rock, indie rock, and blue-eyed soul.
