About Brentford FC

Year Founded: 1889
Major Achievements:

• First promotion to the Premier League in 2021
• League Two title (2008/09)
• Championship play-off winners (2020/21)

Brentford’s story is one of resilience and smart footballing strategy. From humble beginnings playing amateur football on local fields, the Bees have built a reputation for innovation and community spirit. Their rise to the Premier League after a 74-year absence from the top flight is one of modern football’s most inspiring success stories.

The club’s historic moments include its unbeaten first league season in 1892/93, promotion to the First Division in 1935, and its record 9–0 win over Wrexham in 1963. Players such as Jim Towers – the club’s all-time leading scorer – and other prolific forwards like George Francis and Jack Holliday have left an indelible mark on Brentford’s history.
