Dennis Westcott (1936-1948)

Going way back in time for this one, but Dennis Westcott still remains one of the most iconic players the Wolverhampton Wanderers ever had. He was a prolific centre-forward signed in 1936, but was unfortunately robbed of a few years in his prime due to the war. He did play wartime internationals and resumed competitive football in 1946, becoming one of the top scorers in the league.

Billy Wright (1939-1959)

Honoured by the Billy Wright Stand and statue at Molineux Stadium, Billy Wright is a legendary centre-back that spent his whole career playing for the Wolves. He set many records during his time, including being the first footballer in the world to earn 100 international caps. He will always be remembered as a loyal member of the team, only missing 31 games over his entire career.

Steve Bull (1986-1999)

Steve Bull was a talented striker, and is regarded by many as the Wolves’ best player ever. Joining Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1986, he quickly became a fan favourite and a club legend. He remains the all-time top scorer with 306 goals, and has scored 18 hat-tricks for the club, cementing himself in Wolves history with records that aren't likely to be broken any time soon.

Raul Jimenez (2018-2023)

Raul Jimenez is a modern-day legend for Wolverhampton Wanderers, quickly becoming an instrumental and prolific striker since he joined on loan in 2018. The Wolves couldn’t ignore the top scorer that season with 17 goals, leading him to become a permanent team member until 2023. While he plays for Fulham now, you cannot deny the good he did for the Wolves.

João Moutinho (2018-2023)

Starting off his professional career in Portuguese clubs, Moutinho spent five years in the Wolverhampton Wanderers, joining in 2018 when the club was fresh back in the Premier League. A talented midfielder, he’ll be remembered for his cool, calm, and collected vibe on the pitch. His achievements are particularly notable considering he joined the Wolves at the age of 31.
