From Hanover to arenas around the world

Scorpions’ story began in Hanover in 1965, when guitarist Rudolf Schenker formed the band. Singer Klaus Meine joined in 1970, and their debut album, Lonesome Crow, arrived in 1972.

Albums such as Blackout and Love at First Sting helped build their international reputation. Their music combines powerful guitar riffs with a gift for melody, moving between hard rock anthems and ballads that put Meine’s distinctive voice at the centre.

That range is a large part of their appeal. There are songs for the fans who want the guitars turned up, and others that invite an entire arena to sing along. More than six decades after the band formed, their 2027 tour gives UK audiences another opportunity to be part of it.

What could Scorpions play on the 2027 tour?

The setlist for the 2027 tour has not been confirmed, but fans will be hoping for favourites including ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’, ‘Wind of Change’, ‘Still Loving You’ and ‘No One Like You’.

There is more recent material to explore before the shows, too. Their 2022 album, Rock Believer, includes ‘Gas in the Tank’ and the title track, offering a way to get reacquainted with the band beyond their best-known hits.

The final song selection remains unconfirmed, so any potential setlist should be treated as a guide to what fans might hear.

Who is supporting Scorpions in 2027?

Europe will join Scorpions as special guests for the UK shows. The pairing gives fans of melodic hard rock another reason to arrive in time for the support set, with both bands appearing on the same bill.
