Does Sam Fender have a new album?

Yes, Sam Fender's third studio album People Watching was released on 21st February 2025, and makes up most of his concert set list.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Arts' Johnson and Knopfler's Music Legends, he revealed: "We have been recording and recording and making loads of stuff but it got to the point where I thought, ‘We don’t need to get this out yet. We need to get it right’.

“I want to do the best I possibly can. I’d rather it be late and great than early and s****."

When did Sam Fender last tour?

Fender last toured in 2023, with his final performances coming as headline slots at the iconic Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Fender only played a handful of shows in 2023 – 16 to be exact – with the bulk of his shows to promote his second studio album ‘Seventeen Going Under’.

On the main ‘Seventeen Going Under’ tour, Fender hit many of the UK’s major arenas, including Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, London’s OVO Arena Wembley, and a hometown show at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena.
