Johnny Haynes spent his entire professional career loyal to Fulham, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players the club has ever had. He played as an inside forward, known particularly for his passing ability and range of vision. Nicknamed “The Maestro,” he will always be remembered as a notable member of the team despite not winning any trophies during his time there.
Bobby Moore (1974-1977)
While Bobby Moore is mostly known for his illustrious career as captain of club rival West Ham United, but he joined Fulham towards the end of his professional career. Fulham were in the Second Division at the time, and he brought them to the FA Cup Final in 1975. That was his last appearance at Wembley as a player, and Fulham fans will always remember him as one of the greatest defenders of all time.
Louis Saha (2000-2004)
Fulham FC has a lot to thank Louis Saha for, as he brought the club a lot of success even right at the beginning of his career. Originally from France, he played as a striker when he joined Fulham in 2000, managing to propel the team into the Premier League in his first season. After four years he was signed to Manchester United where he enjoyed further Premier League success.
Clint Dempsey (2007-2012)
Clint Dempsey is one of the most successful American players in Europe, and he began his career in the UK at Fulham. He was a key player in the 2009/10 Europa League, helping Fulham secure runner-up to Atlético Madrid. As one of the top scorers, and the first American to score a hat-trick in the Premier League, he is a fond part of Fulham history even after moving on to Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.
Aleksandar Mitrovic (2018-2023)
A Serbian player, Aleksandar was first loaned to Fulham in 2018 before being made a permanent part of the team until 2023. His impact on the club cannot be denied, helping Fulham achieve promotion to the Premier League and scoring over 100 goals during his six seasons there. In 2023 he joined Saudi club Al Hilal, but Fulham has benefitted greatly from his contribution.
