Historical Information

Everton Stadium is a newly built venue, officially opening in February 2025. The stadium was constructed to be the home of Everton FC for the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season and has also been announced to be the host of the 2028 UEFA European Championships and the 2025 Rugby League Ashes.

Previously, Everton FC’s home stadium was Goodison Park, a 39,414 capacity stadium in Walton, Liverpool. It is now the permanent home of Everton’s women’s team, making it the largest dedicated women's football stadium in the UK.

How to get to Hill Dickinson Stadium

By Bus

Regular shuttle buses will run from Liverpool City Centre and Bootle Town Centre direct to Everton Stadium. The following bus routes also pass close by: 20, 26, 47, 56, T054.

By Train

Sandhills Train Station is in proximity to the stadium and connects to Liverpool city centre stations, Southport, Ormskirk, Kirkby and south Liverpool. 

By Car

Liverpool City Council will introduce a ‘Football Match Parking Zone’ around the stadium, with parking needing to be pre-booked in advance. We suggest using a taxi to reduce congestion, as there will be dedicated taxi ranks and parking for fan coaches at the stadium.
