After announcing that they probably wouldn't perform again following the death of founding member Glenn Frey in 2016, the LA rockstars returned in 2017 and announced that they would be embarking on a new tour in 2020.
Eagles last tour was their 'Hotel California' world tour in 2020. The tour came off the back of the band reforming with a fresh new line-up, with the additions of former member Glenn Fray’s son Deacon Frey, and Country music star Vince Gill.
The tour was delayed due to the pandemic, but the Los Angeles rockers finally made their way to the UK in 2022 and played some huge gigs in Hyde Park, London, Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh and Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
In celebration of their 50th year as a band, the rockers performed their classic 1976 album, 'Hotel California' in its entirety on all dates, as well as some of their greatest hits.

Since reforming in 2017, Eagles have been consistently active, performing at numerous shows around the world as part of their ‘Hotel California’ world tour. However, the band are yet to produce any new music since releasing their seventh studio album ‘Long Road Out of Eden’ in 2007.
If band member Vince Gill’s latest interview with Cleveland.com is anything to go by, then it looks like fans of the band will be left wanting.
The singer/guitarist stated that the band “aren't making any attempt” at new music and that the band also feels that it is a “pretty healthy” position to take.
So, while a new music release from the band seems unlikely at this point, fans will still hold out hope for some new Eagles music in the future.
