Barack Obama has been linked to West Ham since his first presidential campaign in 2008, when The Telegraph reported that he had attended a match at Upton Park in 2003 after being invited by family members who were Hammers fans. Ever since then Hammers fans have adopted the former president as one of their own, and he often comes up in lists of famous West Ham fans alongside James Corden and Keira Knightley.
Margot Robbie – Fulham
You’ll be familiar with Margot Robbie from the incredible films she has starred in, including Suicide Squad, Barbie, and Wolf of Wall Street to name a few. What you might not know about her however is that she’s a fan of Fulham FC! The connection comes from her husband, film producer Tom Ackerley, who is a massive fan of the club. She’s even been pictured attending a match at Craven Cottage!
Brad Pitt – Liverpool
An A-list Liverpool fan, Brad Pitt has shown support for the club on multiple occasions. He once said he became a fan after watching The Damned United, a film about English football legend Brian Clough. Whether he’s watching matches religiously or just following the big games, it’s always fun to imagine Hollywood royalty yelling at a referee.
Mark Hamill – Wolverhampton Wanderers
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill became a Wolves fan completely by accident. Fans suggested he could be a fan on Twitter, which earned a like from Hamill. He then replied after the tweet saying he "thought they meant the animal" but added "everyone got so excited-I HAD to be a fan.” He must have felt very welcomed by the club because he has been a supporter ever since!
