Eberechi Eze
Eberechi Eze is one of Palace’s best players, and everyone knows it. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have their sights set on him, but for now he’s playing for Crystal Palace and has been one of their top goal scorers this season.
With two goals and six assists this season, he has proved himself to be a worthy teammate, and it’s no wonder other big clubs want to snatch him up for themselves. If he keeps up his great stats, we’ll definitely be seeing and hearing more from him.
Daniel Muñoz
Colombian right-back Daniel Muñoz has scored two goals at the FA Cup this season, and has played a pivotal role in helping Crystal Palace get to the semi-finals. In the fifth round against Doncaster Rovers, he scored the opening goal in the 31st minute, capitalizing on a rebound from a free kick. Palace won 2-0, with Justin Devenny adding a second goal in the 55th minute.
Marc Guéhi
Marc Guéhi, along with Eberechi Eze, is another player that also plays for the England national team. This just goes to show how talented he is as a player, even at just 24 years old. Rumour has it that Chelsea and Liverpool have their sights set on him, and it’s no wonder as in the quarter-final match against Fulham at Craven Cottage, Guéhi's leadership in defense was pivotal in securing a 3-0 victory.
Ismaïla Sarr
Ismaïla Sarr, the Senegalese winger for Crystal Palace, has played a crucial role in the team's journey to the FA Cup semi-finals this season. In the quarter-final match against Fulham, Sarr scored the second goal, heading in a precise cross from Eberechi Eze.
He’ll definitely be a key component in the semi-final against Aston Villa, as he appears to be Palace’s secret weapon. After spending time with Watford and Marseilles FCs, he is now showing his true underlying talent with the Eagles.
Jean-Philippe Mateta
The Eagles’ striker might seem like a wild card, as he hasn’t actually been playing many games in the FA Cup this season due to injury. However, he returned to play against Fulham in the quarter-final, donning protective headgear to protect the stitches around his ear, and managed to make a comeback three weeks after being kicked in the head.
Mateta has scored 12 goals in the Premier League so far this season, which is promising for his inclusion in the upcoming semi-final. Time will tell whether his injury will hinder him, but if his history is anything to go by, he’ll be helping the team to victory.
