About Fally Ipupa

Fally Ipupa is a Congolese singer, songwriter, dancer and producer from Kinshasa. After performing with Quartier Latin International, he launched his solo career in 2006 with the album Droit Chemin. His music brings together Congolese rumba and soukous with R&B, pop and contemporary African sounds, helping him build an international following across Africa, Europe and beyond.

Over the course of his career, he has released successful albums including Tokooos, Control, Formule 7 and XX, while earning recognition across African and Francophone music. Released in April 2026 to mark his 20-year milestone, XX features collaborations with Wizkid, Angélique Kidjo, Joé Dwèt Filé, DJ Maphorisa, Calema and KeBlack.
