About Kasabian

Kasabian formed in Leicester in 1997 and released their self-titled debut album in 2004. Their sound has developed across alternative rock, electronic music, psychedelia and direct guitar-led pop, supported by a catalogue that includes ‘Club Foot’, ‘Fire’, ‘Underdog’, ‘L.S.F.’, ‘Empire’ and ‘You’re in Love with a Psycho’.

The band have achieved seven consecutive UK number one studio albums, beginning with Empire and most recently continuing with 2024’s Happenings. Their forthcoming ninth studio album, Act III, was produced by Serge Pizzorno and Mark Ralph and is due for release on Friday 4th September 2026.

Kasabian’s major career achievements include closing Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage in 2014 and winning Best British Group at the 2010 BRIT Awards. Their reputation has also been strengthened by large-scale arena tours, festival headline appearances and celebratory hometown concerts in Leicester.
