Real Club Deportivo Mallorca, founded in 1916 in Palma, is a historic Spanish football club nicknamed Los Bermellones for their red and black colour. They are based at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix (also called Visit Mallorca Estadi), which holds about 26,000 fans. The club’s golden era came in the late 1990s and early 2000s: they won the Supercopa de España in 1998 and the Copa del Rey in 2003, and reached the Cup Winners’ Cup final in 1999. After enduring relegations, Mallorca bounced back in 2018-19 and has since maintained its La Liga status, most recently finishing 10th in the 2024/25 season under coach Jagoba Arrasate.
